IoT Challenges

The Internet of Things, in some form or manner, especially in commercial and industrial applications, has been around for a while. However, its expansion into consumer applications has increased the scale of everything substantially. The number of connected devices, the volume and velocity of data captured, the nature of processing and analysis required and the actions that need to be taken or machines that need to be controlled are all growing very rapidly. This kind of scale of usage brings some challenges, which need to be addressed before the IoT can truly become a pervasive aspect of all our lives.
